Letter from MP

back on the 9th of January I contacted my Local MP regarding the Lack of IEP for my son and the whole way the school has handel our case.

His intial response was to talk with the BOT again which i did, but yesterday I recieved his Offical response by letter - he has written to the school and to the minister of education.

asking for an update from them on my case!

He also promises to get back to me once he has there responses.

Its a sad state of affairs when one must go to their MP to get answers! or action!

I whole hearted encourage every parent with a child with dyslexia, or other learning disability who is being put off by there school or told to wait one more term or one more month to activly follow up with the teacher, the dean, the principle, the RTLB or who ever is delaying the support your child needs and to contact their MP if all else fails.

the best piece of advice we should all remeber
Trust you gut insticts and dont give up till you have action!

Bye for now
