All my 4 children are back at school!
the hoildays are over and now the organisation begins all over again.
my year 11 son's school has called on tuesday to set up an IEP meeting on Thursday or Friday. Promise one kept - they contacted the week of the 12th febuary. The meeting will happen tommorow and present will be the head of guidence, the RTLB and me along with maybe a teacher or two (if they can make it). I must admit that doesnt sound optomistic but I will go in with no presumptions and try to make this work.
My year 8 son's new teacher is yet to return my message but it is still only day 6 - I must follow that up next week if I havent heard back.
My year 6 sons teacher seems on to it and nice, He has just had a full reassessment which will give us a good indication of his current levels- I am quite excited by that prospect.
my Year 4 daughter's new teacher is the crown jelew in the bunch she is perfect - just what a parent wants- She believes in holistic and inclusive teaching and finding the indiviuals strenghts and weaknesses
and working to support or improve the individual.
But cost wise without school donations it has been incredibly hard
I cant belive how quickly i spent $1000.00 in shoes, stationery, clothes, uniforms, school bags and new lunch boxes (For some not all).
we are yet to get back to the right sleep/wake up routines but working on it.
bye for now
Adele
